Nishat scales Everest as first Bangladeshi woman

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Nishat Majumder has become the first Bangladeshi woman to climb the peak of the Mount Everest.
She reached the summit at 9:39am (local time) on Saturday, Enam Ul Haque, the founder of Bangla Mountaineering and Trekking Club, reportedly said.
Another Bangladeshi mountaineer, MA Muhith, accompanied Nishat during her adventure, Mr. Haque said adding that Muhith is the first Bangladeshi who scaled the Everest twice.
Nishat Majumder, a 31-year-old accountant, on April 9 started an adventure from Kathmandu to the base camp of the Mount Everest to hoist Bangladeshi flag atop the highest mountain in the world.
Musa Ibrahim is the first Bangladeshi who conquered the Mount Everest on May 23, 2010.
