Nokia launches dual-SIM mobile in Bangladesh

Last updated: August 29, 2010
Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has recently announced the sales start of Nokia C1-00 in Bangladesh to add up to the Eid celebrations.
Nokia C1-00 is the first Nokia mobile phone to offer the convenience of a device that can cater for subscribers who have two SIMs, a company announcement said.
Nokia C1 owners will benefit from a standby battery time of up to six weeks, the longest ever for a Nokia mobile phone, especially useful where access to electricity is sometimes limited.
The standard flashlight — often someone’s only means of bright light — is paired with a vivid colour screen and FM radio with standard headphone jack, meaning the Nokia C1 is as much about entertainment as it is about convenience.
