Noman Group, Rahimafrooz Renewable Energy sign deal

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Bangladesh Carbon, an initiative of Rahimafrooz Renewable Energy, recently signed a clean development service agreement with textile company Noman Group.

Under the agreement, Bangladesh Carbon will act as specialized CDM project developer and help ensure carbon revenues from various carbon emission reduction initiatives of Noman Group of industries.

Nurul Islam, chairman of Noman Group, and Munawar Misbah Moin, managing director of Rahimafrooz Renewable Energy, signed the deal, a press statement said.
