Nooruddin appointed as country manager of DHL

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Nooruddin Chowdhury has been appointed as the Country Manager of Bangladesh, DHL Global Forwarding with effect from February 14 this year.

Mr. Chowdhury is considered to be an industry veteran, having been in the logistics, supply chain and liner shipping line for over 20 years.

He, based in Bangladesh, will be involved in the development of the DHL Global Forwarding business in Bangladesh and responsible for managing the company’s overall operations.

Mr. Chowdhury joined DHL from the partner of DB Schenker – then BAX Global Ltd before it was acquired – where he had been approached to take on the position of COO in 2006.
