Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday gave additional charge of the Railway Ministry to Communications Minister Obaidul Quader.
“The Prime Minister with power vested on her under rule 3(1V) of the Rules of Business 1996 has given additional responsibilities of the Railway ministry to Communication Minister Obaidul Quader,” a government notification said.
The government took the decision following Suranjit Sengupta’s resignation on Monday as Railway minister. However, the government on Tuesday has made Suranjit as minister without portfolio.
