Offices reopen after Eid-ul-Fitr holidays

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – All government, semi-government and private offices including banks and financial institutions opened on Sunday after a three-day Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and two-day weekend.

On the first day of the reopening, presence in most of the offices in the capital Dhaka are thin, witnesses said, adding that festive mood is prevailing at most of the offices.

The holiday-seekers, who went to their villages to celebrate the Eid with their relatives, have already started to return to their workplaces in the capital Dhaka.
