Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – All government, semi-government and private offices including commercial banks and financial institutions opened on Wednesday after the Eid-ul-Azha vacation.
A festive mood is prevailing at most of the offices, a government official said, adding that presence in most of the offices in the capital Dhaka is thin on Wednesday, the first working day after the Eid vacation.
Officials and staff are seen exchanging Eid greetings with their colleagues and embracing each other.
Thousands of people left Dhaka last week as they got a prolonged Eid vacation with the two-day weekly holiday followed by a three-day vacation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha festival.
