Open air concert Friday to motivate youths against violence, eve-teasing

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- With the theme ‘Say no to violence against women: Be a real man’, UNFPA and BAMBA jointly hosts an open air concert at the Banani Army Stadium in Dhaka on Friday to motivate youths against violence and eve-teasing.

Twelve leading bands of the country - Nagarbaul, LRB, Miles, Souls, Warfaze, Prometheus, Aurthohin, Cryptic Fate, ArtCell, Metal Maze, Power Surge and Lalon - will take part in the concert.

On Sunday, Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA) and UNFPA jointly arranged a press conference at Sonargaon Hotel to brief the media about the upcoming concert.

The gate of the Army Stadium will be opened at 1:30 pm (local time) while the concert will start at 2:30 pm.
