Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Orientation programme to the newly recruited filed officers of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) was held on Thursday.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, the managing director and CEO of the bank addressed the programme as chief guest held at Mohammad Younus Auditorium of Islami Bank Tower in Dhaka, said a press statement of the bank.
Rural Development Scheme of IBBL is playing significant role in the national development through rural poverty alleviation, employment generation and women empowerment, said Mohammad Abdul Mannan.
This scheme has brought visible changes in living standard, health, education and infrastructure of 10 lakh families across 20 thousand villages of the country, he added.
This scheme has no alternative for sustainable development and to raise the country among middle-income nations, he added.
He also urged the new officers to reach RDS services to more people of the country.
Islami Bank Training and Research Academy organised the programme.
Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan & Md Shamsuzzaman, deputy managing directors of the bank; Md Yeanur Rahman & Mohammad Rokan Uddin, executive vice presidents of the bank and Md Mahboob Alam, project head of Rural Development Scheme; along with executives of the bank were present on the occasion.
A total of 119 Field Officers joined the bank for Rural Development Scheme and Urban Development Scheme.
