Auckland, New Zealand (BBN)-Pakistan defeated South Africa by 29 runs (D/L method) in their 29th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Auckland Saturday.
South Africa scored 202 runs losing all wickets in 33.3 overs against 47 overs and 232 target set by Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan piled 222 runs in 46.4/47 overs.
Earlier rain reduced the match to 47 overs instead of 50.


Prior to beginning of the match, South Africa have won the toss and elected to field first.
Pakistan’s victory in this battle of nerves opened a way to better its chances for a place in quarter-finals.
