Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government of Bangladesh has accorded agreement to the appointment of Pankaj Saran as the new High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh.
Mr. Saran is a career diplomat and is presently serving in the office of the Prime Minister of India.
He is expected to assume his office in Dhaka shortly, a foreign ministry announcement said in the capital on Thursday.
