Pankaj Saran new Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The government of Bangladesh has accorded agreement to the appointment of Pankaj Saran as the new High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh.

Mr. Saran is a career diplomat and is presently serving in the office of the Prime Minister of India.

He is expected to assume his office in Dhaka shortly, a foreign ministry announcement said in the capital on Thursday.
