Panthapath furniture market fire quenched

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The fire which broke out at the Panthapath furniture market in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, on Sunday was doused nearly 30 minutes after its origin.

The fire which originated around 1:15pm was quenched around 1:45pm after the five units of Fire Service and Civil Defence worked relentlessly, Enayet Hossain, the OC Control of the fire brigade, told the BBN.

The reason of the fire could not be known immediately.

No report of injury was filed as of 2:10pm when this report was filed.
