PLFS approves 20 percent stock dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- People’s Leasing and Financial Services Limited (PLFS) approved 20 per cent stock dividend (20 shares for existing 100 Shares) for the year 2008.

The approval came at the company’s 13th annual general meeting (AGM) held in Dhaka on Tuesday, the company said.

The meeting was presided over by the company Chairman Motiur Rahman. Company directors and a large number of shareholders also attended the meeting.

The company achieved the increased operating revenue by 37 per cent over the previous year and earned a net profit of Tk 185.74 million for the same year, a company executive said.
