Pniak Chakraborty joins as Country Head of SBI in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Pinak Chakraborty has recently joined as the Country Head of State Bank of India (SBI) in Bangladesh.

Mr. Chakraborty has replaced Debabrata Datta.

He has served various important assignments in different provinces of India for State Bank of India, a press statement said.

Before coming to Bangladesh, he was working as the Deputy General Manager (Jharkhand) at Ranchi in the State of Jharkhand, it added.

Currently, nine foreign commercial banks are operating in Bangladesh.
