Pragati Life Ins places to ‘Z’ category

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Pragati Life Insurance will be placed in “Z” category from existing “A” category with effect from August 26, 2014 as the company did not recommend any dividend, said a Dhaka Stock Exchange statement posted on its website on Monday.

The DSE statement also said: “The Stock Brokers and Merchant Bankers are requested not to provide loan facilities to purchase securities of Pragati Life Insurance Limited starting from August 26, 2014”.

The board of directors of Pragati Life Insurance did not recommend any dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2013.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the Company today (25.08.2014) following its corporate declaration.
