Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The 25th annual general meeting (AGM) of Agricultural Marketing Co Ltd (AMCL-PRAN) has approved 30 per cent dividend for the year 2009-10.
The AGM was held in the city on Thursday, the company said.
Among others, Chairman of the company Lt Col (retd) Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Managing Director Maj Gen (retd) Amjad Khan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, directors Sabiha Amjad, Uzma Chowdhury, Khandker Fazle Rabi, Md Eleash Mridha, Choudhury Atiur Rasul and Chowdhury Kamruzzaman and Company Secretary Md Abu Kawser were present at the AGM.
At the AGM, it was reported that in spite of stiff competition in the market, the pre-tax profit of the company was BDT 53.59 million in 2009-10 while gross turnover was BDT 1284.07 million and the total export figure was BDT 446.93 million (including incentive).
