President condoles deaths in building collapse

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- President-elect Md Abdul Hamid on Tuesday expressed his deep shock at fatalities in the tragic incident of collapsing a nine-storey building in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital this morning.

Abdul Hamid asked the authorities to put in their all out efforts in the rescue operation to save the people who were trapped inside the building. He also asked the authorities concerned to ensure proper treatment of the injured people.

He prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls as well as wished early recovery of the injured people.

He also conveyed his deep sympathy to members of the bereaved families.
