Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - President Zillur Rahman has urged people to work together for the development of the country.
He made the call while addressing a gathering of dignitaries and invitees at a reception held at the Bangabhaban in the capital Dhaka on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday.
Ministers, the Chief Justice, senior lawyers, the chiefs of the three services, foreign and local diplomats, academics and educationists, politicians, litterateurs and journalists attended the reception.
The president exchanged Eid greetings with the guests.
Earlier, President Zillur Rahman offered his Eid payers at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises in Dhaka.
