Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Prevailing cold wave is likely to continue till Friday evening, a Bangladesh Metrological Department report said on Thursday.
 
Severe cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Dinajpur, Pabna, Jessore and Kushtia and mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Dhaka and Barisal divisions and the rest parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions sand the regions Comilla, Noakhali, Rangamati and Srimongal and it may continue in next 24 hours till 6:00 pm on Friday.

“Weather is likely to remain dry over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and the river basins of the country and light to moderate for may occur elsewhere over the country,” the report added.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets in the capital on Friday at 5:32pm and rises on Saturday at 6:44am.

Country’s highest temperature 23.2 degree Celsius was recorded on Thursday at Cox’s Bazar and lowest 04.6 degrees at Jessore.
