Prime Finance First MF declares 8.50pc dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Trustee Committee of Prime Finance First Mutual Fund has approved 8.50 percent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2018, said an official disclosure on Sunday.

The record date for entitlement of dividend is on February 24.

The Fund has also reported earnings per unit (EPU) of BDT 0.97, net asset value (NAV) per unit of BDT 17.83 at cost price basis, NAV per unit of BDT 11.52 at market price basis and net operating cash flow per unit (NOCFPU) of minus BDT 0.02 for the year ended on December 31, 2018 as against BDT 1.17, BDT 17.61, BDT 13.28 and BDT 0.25 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the units of the Fund today following its corporate declaration.

Unit price of the mutual fund, which was listed on the DSE in 2009, closed at BDT 11.60 each on Thursday last.
Its authorized capital is BDT 200 million and the total number of securities is 20 million.

The sponsor-directors own 2.0 percent stake in the mutual fund, while institutional investors own 28.26 percent, foreign investors 0.01 percent and the general public 69.73 percent as of December 31, 2018.
