Professor Yunus awarded Golden Biatec 2008

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Professor Muhammad Yunus, founder and chairman of Grameen Fund, was awarded Golden Biatec 2008 on Monday.

The Informal Economic Forum Economic Club Association, Slovak Republic awarded the gold medal to Professor Yunus, a press statement said.

Since its inception in 1993, the Golden Biatec Award is the highest honor awarded by the members of the association for economic, social, scientific, educational and cultural accomplishments in the Slovak Republic.
