Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Bangladesh Railway will start selling of advance tickets for different routes from Chittgaong and Dhaka from August 21 to ease sufferings of the homebound people before the Eid-ul-Fitr, officials said.
The advance ticket selling will be continued until August 25 this year, a Railway senior official said, adding that special trains would be introduced on different rail routes with additional coaches in Dhaka-Chittagong route to meet the demand.
Tickets will be sold at the counters from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for five days from August 21.
According to train timetable, tickets for August 26 will be sold on August 21, for August 27 on August 22, for August 28 on August 23, for August 29 on August 24 and for August 30 on August 25. A passenger will be allowed to buy maximum four tickets which are non-returnable.
