Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The RAK Ceramics has recommends 25 per cent cash dividend, said an office disclosure on Thursday.
The board of directors of RAK ceramics proposed the dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2015.
The final approval will come during the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on April 13 and time and venue to be notified later.
The record date is on February 2.
The company has also reported consolidated net profit after tax of BDT 1,094.34 million, consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of BDT 3.25, consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share of BDT 17.93 and consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of BDT 2.73 for the year ended on 31.12.2015 as against BDT 562.79 million, BDT 1.67, BDT 17.57 and BDT 1.84 respectively for the year ended on 31.12.2014.
The company was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 2010.
The ceramics sector company belongs to the ‘A’ category.
The company’s paid-up capital is BDT 3,368.5 million and authorized capital is BDT 6,000 million while the total number of securities is 336,850,611.
The sponsor-directors own 77.22 per cent stake in RAK Ceramics while institutional investors own 10.05 per cent and general public 12.73 per cent.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration.
