Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Registration for admission in the honours courses at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology begins on Wednesday.
The students willing to get admitted in the graduation courses in the 2010-11 education year can register their names till October 15 and the admission test will be held on November 6, the New Age, a local newspaper, reported quoting sources in the admission committee of the university.
This is for the second time that the registration will be conducted through mobile phone short message service.
An admission seeker has to recharge BDT 500 and BDT 550 only for the B1 unit in a mobile phone of Teletalk Operator for the registration.
He/she has to type SUST then first three letter of the education board under which he/she has appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate examination after giving a space, then roll number and year of the examination, then name of unit in which he/she is willing to get admitted and then send the message to 16222. A space is needed to give after each world, according to the instructions given by the admission committee.
The authorities will confirm the registration in a return message with the date of admission, seat number, results and other necessary information through the SMS of the mobile phone of the respective students.
