Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – A five-day fair of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) begins on Thursday at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka.

State Minister for Housing and Public Works Abdul Mannan Khan will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest. Minister for Environment and Forest Hasan Mahmud will attend the closing ceremony as the chief guest.

“The real estate companies will sell flats, only approved by Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk),” REHAB general secretary Murad Iqbal Chowdhury said at a press conference at the National Press Club in the capital Dhaka on Tuesday.

He also said the REHAB urges all the buyers to verify the projects from the RAJUK team before booking.

The REHAB said 281 real estate companies and two financial institutions — LankaBangla Finance and Delta BRAC Housing — will take part in the fair.

There will be 283 stalls in the five-day fair. The fair will remain open from 2:00pm to 9:00 pm (local time) during on the day of inauguration and from 10:00am to 9:00pm rest of the four days. The single entry fee of the fair will be BDT 50 and multiple entry fee BDT 100.
