Result of Sunday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said.

Twenty one bids of 1-day tenor amounting tot al of BDT 93.7354 billion were received. Of those, 21 bids amounting total of BDT.27.5948 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 36.9918 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
