Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, officials said.
Fourteen bids of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 19.7133 billion were received and all the bids were accepted. Moreover, 12 primary dealers were provided total of BDT 24.4757 billion as liquidity support facility of 3-day tenor.
The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
