Result of Thursday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, officials said.

Twelve bids of 3-day tenor amounting to tot al of BDT 69.2953 billion were received. Of those, 12 bids amounting total of BDT 34.5684 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 12 primary dealers of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT.26.7158 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
