Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, officials said.
Thirteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 165.0589 billion were received. Of those, 13 bids amounting total of BDT 20.0051 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 13 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 48.3871 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
