Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.
Fourteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 187.1048 billion were received. Of those, 14 bids amounting total of BDT 17.9995 billion were accepted. Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 53.5281 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
