Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Auction of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills was held on Sunday, officials said.
Total 18 bids of BDT 4.5326 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 19 bids of BDT 5.5527 billion for 364-Day T-bills were offered. Of those 09 bids of BDT 2.1792 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 09 bids of BDT 2.6478 billion for 364-Day T-bills were accepted.
Accordingly, BDT 2.2925 billion was devolved on primary dealers (PDs) and BDT 1.5283 billion was devolved on non-PD banks for 91-Day T-bills. BDT 2.6114 billion was devolved on PDs and Tk.1.7408 billion was devolved on non-PD banks for 364-Day bills.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 8.08-8.32 percent and 10.00-10.35 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
