Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Auction of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills was held on Sunday, officials said.
Total 21 bids of BDT 7.0417 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 21 bids of BDT 5.3371 billion for 364-Day T-bills were offered. Of those 10 bids of BDT 4.0805 billion for 91-Day T-bills and six bids of BDT 1.0350 billion for 364-Day T-bills were accepted.
Accordingly, BDT 1.7517 billion was devolved on primary dealers (PDs) and BDT 1.1678 billion was devolved on non-PD banks for 91-Day T-bills. BDT 3.8790 billion was devolved on PDs and BDT 2.5860 billion was devolved on non-PD banks for 364-Day T-bills.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 8.20-8.35 percent and 10.29-10.35 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
