Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Monday, officials said.
Seventeen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 144.9670 billion were received. Of those, 17 bids amounting total of BDT 19.1464 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 36.2742 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
