Results of Monday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Monday, officials said.

Eighteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 269.7635 billion were received. Of those, 18 bids amounting total of BDT 40.2595 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 43.5184 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
