Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said.
Seventeen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 286.4971 billion were received. Of those, 17 bids amounting total of BDT 20.0381 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 54.4786 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
