Results of Sunday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said.

Eight bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 10.9523 billion were received. Of those, three bids amounting to total of BDT 1.6765 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 12 primary dealers were provided total of BDT 27.1142 billion as liquidity support facility of 1-day tenor.

The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
