Results of Sunday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said.

Seven bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 198.2173 billion were received. Of those, all bids amounting total of BDT 515.4 million were accepted.

Moreover, 12 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 31.2567 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility.

“The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent per annum,” a central bank statement said.
