Results of Sunday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said on Monday.

Eighteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 196.8701 billion were received. Of those, 18 bids amounting total of BDT 30.3307 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 41.5579 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
