Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said.
Fourteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 140.8033 billion were received. Of those, 14 bids amounting total of BDT 34.5661 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT.42.4753 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of both of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
