Results of T-bills auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The 40th auction of treasury bills (T-bills) of different maturities was held on Sunday. BDT 2.801 billion and BDT 2.135 billion in grand total BDT 4.936 billion were offered for the 91-day and 182-day bills respectively.

Of those, DBT 806 million and BDT 997.50 million in grand total BDT 1.803 billion were accepted respectively for the 91-day and 182-day bills, according to the central bank press statement.

The range of implicit yield of accepted bids were 7.90 per cent and 8.08-8.12 per cent per annum respectively, the central bank of Bangladesh said.
