Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, officials said.
Fifteen bids of 3-day tenor amounting to total of BDT 23.5379 billion were received. Of those, 15 bids amounting total of BDT 5.8845 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 33.27 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
