Results of Thursday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, officials said.

Eighteen bids of 3-day tenor amounting to tot al of BDT 133.4224 billion were received. Of those, 18 bids amounting total of BDT 23.6955 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 37.0846 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
