Results of Thursday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, officials said on Sunday.

Nineteen bids of 3-day tenor amounting tot al of BDT 221.9658 billion were received. Of those, 19 bids amounting total of BDT 40.0731 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT48.7778 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
