Results of Thursday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, officials said.

Twenty one bids of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 227.1900 billion were received. Of those, 21 bids amounting total of BDT 40.1030 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 51.1360 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
