Results of Tuesday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, officials said.

Eighteen bids of 2-day tenor amounting total of BDT.215.7723 billion were received. Of those, 18 bids amounting total of BDT 40.0729 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 2-day tenor amounting total of BDT 47.9978 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
