Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.
Twenty one bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 284.1007 billion were received. Of those, 21 bids amounting total of BDT 40.2687 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 54.9247 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
