Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, officials said.
Fifteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 231.0460 billion were received. Of those, 15 bids amounting total of BDT 39.2460 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 45.1234 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
