Results of Tuesday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, officials said.

Seven bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 199.8072 billion were received. Of those, all bids amounting total of BDT 509.50 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 13 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 45.3201 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent per annum.
