Results of Wednesday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.

Eighteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 167.0096 billion were received. Of those, 18 bids amounting total of BDT.29.1133 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 44.2862 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
